Bodegas Olarrais located in Logroño, in the heart of the Rioja Qualified Designation of Origin and within the Rioja Alta sub-area.
Built in 1973, Bodegas Olarra was a milestone in the way of understanding architecture in the wine sector. It is the beginning of the conception of the space in the construction of bodegas in Rioja as a differentiating element, an attractive and courageous project, impregnated with an innovative spirit. The key of the winery building is the web of 111 hexagonal domes at the service of aging wine and its unique “Y” shaped floor plan.
Bodegas Olarra obtained the Best Of Wine Tourism award from the Great Wine Capitals Global Network in the Architecture, Parks and Gardens category.
