The Casa de la Danza is located in the Old Quarter of Logroño, on Calle Ruavieja, with access from Calle de San Gregorio. A place to enjoy a small museum about dance on the Camino de Santiago route and open to the big park in the right bank of the Ebro river.
It was inaugurated in 2003 and is privately owned. The Spanish dancer Ángel Corella acted as ambassador for its opening.
It is a space with multiple volumes that starts from respect for the original structure of the building, and proof of this is the ancient calado (underground wine cellar) in which the museum is located.
Its north facade preserves the foundations corresponding to the remains of the Murallas del Revellín, forming part of the defenses that the city of Logroño had during the Napoleonic occupation.
