La Gota de Leche (Drop of Milk), Center for Youth and Artistic Resources of the City of Logroño, is a multifunctional space created so that young people can create, discover and express their cultural and artistic skills.
La Gota de Leche building dates back to 1900 and emerged as a municipal facility for the care needs of its population. In 1904 a lateral space was destined to dedicate it to the institution of La Gota de Leche.
In 1988 it underwent a profound transformation, dividing the building into three different areas: Municipal School of Music, Laboratory of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja and Casa de la Juventud.
Fermín Álamo addresses the first reform of the building in 1927; then the project by Rafael Fontán will come, or the interventions of the municipal architects Rafael Alcoceba and Carlos Lloret in the last years of the 20th century, installing the Laboratory, the youth house and the Music house.
With the first years of the 21st century, the reform that will give rise to what we know today as Gota de Leche is addressed: youth and arts resource center, whose project is being carried out by Noemí Grijalba and José Garrido.
