The Plaza de Santiago (Santiago Square) is located next to the Church of Santiago El Real and its pavement displays a singular Game of the Goose with Jacobean motifs. It is popularly known as Plaza de la Oca.
Pilgrims can play the stages of the Camino de Santiago and its most representative monuments. This mosaic game was made in 1991 by Ricardo González, with the collaboration of the sculptors Félix Reyes and Pepe Iglesias.
Next to this Plaza de Santiago stands the Pilgrim Fountain that conmemorates an older one.
